Lil Oiler – CB750
I've mixed feelings about this bike. What started as a quick build over two months in the spring eventually turns into three months of summer tweaka-tweaka. After problems with the old engine spraying oil over the entire garage (thus the nickname) I swap it out for a new, lighter engine, and the carbureted fun begins. With many attempts at rejetting the carbs and even taking it to the cycle shop, I still feel like it's a work in progress (yes, I know @ the DOHC carbs touchiness and needing the original airbox).
The goal was to strip it down — clean up the lines while keeping it an easy, maneuverable rider. It was fun while it lasted but it's got to go, more things to build.
